Coming into its third year, the Crosstown Cookout is an event featuring the best local foods, musicians, artisans, and spaces of Pittsburgh. Held on the Mon Wharf, the Crosstown Cookout is in partnership with Riverlife—a local nonprofit organization that works with Pittsburgh’s river fronts to transform wasted space into clean, safe, and enjoyable areas.
In past years, the Crosstown Cookout has featured local music acts. The 2018 installment will see a massive expansion in way of entertainment—a robust lineup of local DJs as well as national headlining DJs.
Along with musical entertainment, plenty of other activities will be going on. Partnering with El Gallo (the promotion arm of Round Corner Cantina), attendees can expect to have the difficult task of choosing food from plenty of delicious vendors, which in the past have been the likes of Round Corner Cantina, Gaucho Parilla, Doce Taqueria, Lena’s, The Vandal, etc. A Vendor Village highlighting local craftsmen and women, river activities, skateboarding, and opportunities to engage with sponsors will also be available for attendees—which has grown to the thousands since its first year and is expected to continue on an upward growth.
Don't forget - we are family + dog friendly! Make sure to follow @fame15creative and @crosstowncookoutpgh on Instagram for upcoming dates.
